How Long Does It Take to Get a Refund?
Typically, it takes up to 30 days for Amazon to receive and process your return. In certain circumstances, such as during peak seasons or if your return shipment requires additional verification, refund time frames may be longer. Amazon will issue the refund to the refund method you select in the Online Return Center. You can check the status of your refund by logging into your Amazon account and visiting the Orders section.
What Happens If You Return an Item by Mistake?
If you have returned an item to Amazon by mistake or included something not intended, contact Amazon's customer service immediately. They may be able to intercept the return package and cancel the refund. If the package has already been delivered, you may need to contact the carrier directly to arrange for a return.
How to Get a Refund If You Haven't Received a Response
If you haven't received a response from Amazon within two business days of requesting a refund, you can request an A-to-z Guarantee Refund. To do this, log into your Amazon account and go to the Orders section. Click on the order you want to refund and select the "Problem with this order" link. Follow the instructions to submit your refund request.
