Crystal Hefner Comes Clean, Seven Years After Hugh Hefner's Death

Seven years after the death of Hugh Hefner, his widow, Crystal Hefner, is speaking out. Crystal, born April 29, 1986, is an American model who was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for December 2009. She married Hefner in 2012, and they remained married until his death in 2017. In a new interview with People magazine, Crystal opens up about her life with Hefner and the challenges she has faced since his death.
"I think I was in shock for a long time," Crystal tells People. "I didn't really know what to do with myself. I was so used to being with Hugh, and all of a sudden he was gone." Crystal says that she struggled to adjust to life without Hefner, and she often felt lost and alone.
"I didn't know who I was anymore," she says. "I had always defined myself by my relationship with Hugh. I was his wife, and that was my identity. When he was gone, I felt like I had lost a part of myself."
